The palace itself is located in hill top and provides an excellent view of the whole town. If there is clear sky, one can also see the outline if alps. It usually accommodates various cultural shows throughout the year. The schedule is available on palace website and also on the town website. The garden is huge and it is amazing... 更多
It is a welcome change after a sombre visit to Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial. It offers a totally different scenery. From the hilltop, you can see the picturesque town of Dachau and nearby Munich beautifully. The sweet smell of flowers lingers on in your memories even after leaving the town.
This is one beautuful place, with a lot of green, trees, fruits and flowers. It's perfect for familys with children who want to spend nice day in natur. It is in center of old town. Garden has amazing view point where you can see Munich. It has restaurant in front of castle, and there are a lot of restaurants nearby

We walked up the cobbled street to the Palace from the town in about ten minutes. It is one of the former residences of the Munich Court redesigned in the 18th Century. It has lovely gardens with flowers and apple trees and there are far reaching views of Munich from the Terrace. It's worth the steep walk!
My vote is before. Originally a medieval castle belonging to the local count, this transferred to the Munich court in 1546. Most interesting feature is the Renaissance ceiling, one of the most important in Southern Germany.
I only visited the court garden and was very surprised how beautiful and warm it is in there, above the city and very calm, a place to relax
This is a Palace of Baroque early Rococo periods, absolutely beautiful. The gardens were wonderful even now but will be so much better in a month or two as spring comes in.
