Turpentine Creek has such beautiful cats. It is awesome that the facility takes such good care of these homeless animals. You get very close to these animals and it is just like being next to them. They have a very safe environment. A must when visiting Eureka Springs.
Loved Turpentine Creek. It's such a great place with a great mission. We really enjoyed our tour. Great and unique experience if you're in Eureka!
We stayed here last year for I think two nights in one of the Safari lodges. This year we stayed four nights, and made a reservation for the same week next year. This year we towed my motorcycle. Some of the best motorcycle rides in the country are in Arkansas. The famous 'Pig Trail' (Highway 23) essentially starts at the... 更多
This is so worth your time and support. I was surprised at how many cats they care for. The tours are done by young interns that clearly know and love these magnificent animals.
I didn't want to go to some attraction where people make a buck by locking animals in small cages. This place is not that. They rescue cats from places like that. They don't breed or sell. They rescue and give this magnificent animals a safe place to spend the rest of their days. Be there by 4pm for feeding time.... 更多
This is an incredible place even though many of the stories are heartbreaking. The animals are given a home for the rest of their lives here and are treated well. They are in large enclosures with grass under their feet. It is obvious the staff really cares. Each staff member we spoke with knew a lot of information and was... 更多
Very nice people working there! Love hearing the cats, bears and other stories. Love seeing how well cared for all the animals are.
This place was amazing. The work they are doing is spectacular. I can't wait to come back again and see the changes. I wish we were there for the pools being dropped off. Just too early.
A little costly for the tour, however, the money is for a good cause. The staff is dedicated to this facility and there are some amazing animals to see and learn about.
I always recommend Turpentine Creek to people-especially those who have a misconception of it as being a zoo. It is a necessary place to help animals that humans have hurt by deciding to make pets of them. These interns do so much to better the lives of these lions, tigers, bears, smaller cars, and even a monkey and a koati.... 更多
