My 18 year old son got a kayak and my husband and I got a canoe. The trip was slow and easy and the scenery was beautiful. My son wished it was a little faster water, but there is no way to control that. We came in September. The service was great.
Very simple. Just go there and rent a canoe (cash about $54 for 2 for a 5 mile trip). You park near the place, which is where you end up.
