If your in Drake Bay and don't go to this, you will be missing a portion of your surroundings that everyone should see. I can't imagine anyone more qualified or enthusiastic than Traci & John. They find things you would never see on your own. Don't miss this part of the jungle. It was amazing!
Our whole family loved the tour. Great information about the bugs, spiders, bats and other things you'll encounter. Don't expect to hike very far, the critters are within a few feet of each other. You'll be entranced by the leaf cutters!
Tracie and her partner Gianfranco have an infectious enthusiasm for all creatures great and small, which made this tour one of the best things we did during our week in Drake Bay. The entire family of four (kids aged 7 and 10) thoroughly enjoyed the tour, despite some pretty torrential rainfall towards the end. We learned an amazing amount of... 更多
I actually did this tour twice with one time just me and the next night with my family. I wanted to make sure I could do this and not be rained out. It was fantastic and so informative. Really a completely different view from what you see during the day. The tour was not an exact repeat. I think 50%... 更多
Gianfranco and Tracie were calm, comforting, and excited from the start. They have a great method of having one of them show off a fascinating creature while showing it to us, while the other goes on ahead to find the next creature. I was not sure what to expect, but read review and knew it was worth the trip. I... 更多
Tracie and Gian have a real passion for their work, and it shows. This tour was fun and unusual, and you learn so much! We saw a number of interesting bugs and other crawlies, but the real treat was hearing Tracie and Gian tell the stories of each individual creature--the stories of how they survive and thrive are fascinating. Take... 更多
One of the best tours we have been on in the Americas - better than the majority of tours/ranger talks we have been on in North American National and state parks. A must do while in Costa Rica!!!
Amazing experience! We have 2 ten year old kids who couldn't get enough of the experience. We were talking about all of the cool things we learned for days after. It really is an experience that changes the way you see the world around you and helps you appreciate nature a bit more. So fun!
This tour was full of creatures that we never would have otherwise seen or recognized, and our guide Tracie was awesome with our young son. Also, her husband came along and scouted ahead to keep it moving, and they were happy to play through a downpour and carry on unaffected. Highly recommend!
Tracie and John are experts. They find camouflaged animals at night - that are sometimes difficult to spot even after they point them out. Their knowledge of the animals is encyclopedic. They take turns spotting and explaining the animals - resulting in 3 hours of non-stop action with one animal after another. Tracie, John, many thanks for the wonderful tour!
