Sedona, Arizona, about halfway between Phoenix and the Grand Canyon, is a must-visit place for spiritual seekers the world over. Since 2004, such visitors have been flocking to Sedona’s Amitabha Stupa. (Some call it Sedona’s newest vortex.) Sitting majestically among the pinion and juniper pines, and surrounded by a landscape of stunning crimson spires, it is a jewel to behold. Visit Sedona’s Amitabha StupaOn any given day, dozens of visitors trek up the short winding trails to the 36 foot Amitabha Stupa and the smaller Tara Stupa for prayer, meditation, healing, and the experience of peace in a sacred place. The Amitabha Stupa is open every day from dawn until dusk and your visit is free of charge. (Of course, donations to support the stupa are gratefully accepted.)

Love this place and the energy associated with it. I always make multiple trips when in Sedona. Such a powerful meditation spot.

If you are into Buddhism and spirituality this is a wonderful little oasis of peace. It is away from the main city and doesn't cost anything except a donation if you can spare it. I found it to be beautiful.

Lived here 7 years before I knew this beautiful place existed. Location is the reason. It's not on a main street & is secluded. If you want to escape the maddening crowd, find inner peace in a truly unique and peaceful setting this is it. It's like an outdoor church open to all.faiths. It's free, but donations are welcome. There's... 更多

It's just a beautiful place. They have information about the stupa and various other things. Even if you don't practice Buddhism just go experience it's beauty.

I've been here twice. I love going around the stupa to make an intention. If you want to relax and stay grounded, this is a must visit for anyone who just love a walk and nature views. They are working on building a Buddhist temple here. I really want to see it.

I visited the stupa during our workshop's lunch break....so glad I did! Originally I thought the juxtaposition of an Indian shrine in an American high desert strange and out of line with the natural wonder of the red rock vortexes but once there experiencing the energy, it was apparent that the stupa was the perfect sacred structure in the perfect... 更多

As if being in such a place with powerful natural forces wasn't enough, there's also a chance here to experience a spot that exudes peace and tranquility. It's located just off a residential street. Stupas are traditionally built as places for house relics and meditation. This one here was apparently built in the traditional Tibetan Buddhist tradition, using various rituals... 更多

This place was very cool. Allows you to take some time out, be quiet in a beautiful place. And it is different. Loved it.

I was awe struck while visiting the Stupa. There is so much beauty here and so much peace and tranquility. I came to Sedona on a spiritual quest, to find myself and my lifes purpose, so the Stupa was a great place for me to reflect. Its so beautiful.

I've been to Sedona several times, & just heard about the Peace Park recently. It is easy to get to from 89A, turn onto Adante, then left onto Pueblo, with a little parking area on the right. A short walk on the trail, and you will find several small shrines, the Stupa, prayer flags blowing in the breeze, a nice... 更多
