Would recommend visiting here if you are planning to hike in this area as they can provide free maps, guides and first hand recommendations depending on must see/length of stay/fitness
The staff was friendly & willing to answer questions. One staff member helped my husband find a scheduled hike. Another member walked me outside to show me the famous Snoopy rock.
We stayed in uptown Sedona, so we stopped by the Chamber of Commerce for some hiking information. PJ was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! She gave us tons of information about trails and local points of interest. We will definitely plan stop here on day one of our next trip. This is a great resource for any trip to Sedona.
Free parking was appreciated , but probably at peak times is in short supply.. Lots of people there to help, lots of printed material to take away. Got a good overview of places to stay and things to see, along with tips from locals. Great central location, right in the middle of Main Street shopping. Thanks, Sedona!
The staff at the Chamber helped us on 2 occasions while we were in Sedona. They had plenty of staff to help everyone, and they were so knowledgable!
Went there looking for ideas to do in a few hours with low extreme effect.. basically a map was given with shopping and suburbs ideas and that's it.. the lady was not too engaged with us... after that we found a very nice tour that met our expectations for the day.. but it was not found through here
I had only one day to see the "sights" of Sedona. The volunteer here got out a map and showed me where to go and how to get there. Watch out for the "information" places which are there actually to sell you a tour or whatever -- unless that's what you want.
