We stopped here on our way from Sedona to the Grand Canyon. The drive up the mountain was a little scary and breathtaking at the same time. Because I was so focused on driving, I didn't realize how beautiful everything was. When we got to the top of the mountain we saw signs for the Oak Creek Vista Overlook so... 更多
If you take your time to drive carefully and allow yourself to take in some of the scenery along the way, it'll take about 45 minutes to get to the Overlook. We comment on the Indian Market in our review of Oak Creek Canyon, but as others have said in their reviews of this attraction, apart from the views from... 更多
This place isn't for everyone. First, you have to drive about an hour outside of Sedona on your way to Flagstaff to get here. Eventually, on this drive, you are fully in the mountains winding up, up and up until you reach this point. However, if that is the type of traveling you enjoy, the view and this stop is... 更多

As a bird watcher, I was pleased to see a number of birds in the woods around the parking lot. I also noticed some native Americans setting up displays near the parking area.... 更多
To get the best view, you'll need to park your car and walk to the end of the park overlooking the canyon. It's work it. Good spot to picnic too.
Love the drive up the canyon to the Vista. At the top, turn into the first right. There is lots of parking but it is often full. There are picnic tables, a nice restroom, a gift shop, and a ranger station. The walkway out to the overlook is lined by Indian craftspeople selling their wares. Do stop and take a... 更多
