The drive up Oak Creek Canyon (Route 89) is winding and beautiful. It is reminiscent of mountain roads in Colorado, so it's difficult to imagine that you are still in AZ. I usually use a walker, but made it up the short trail from the parking lot with just my cane. The altitude is 6000 ft. so I was a little short of breath, but the Navajo Market at the end of the trail, and the view made it all worth it.
Simply park and walk out to these beautiful views! No hiking is required. There are Native American goods being sold here as well which allow for a lovely souvenir opportunity. Easy, fun, peaceful, and beautiful.

Every time I visit Sedona I always buy my jewelry here at the Vista. There's nothing like buying directly from the creator, they are very nice and informative about their goods. I love everything I've ever bought there. The trip up the canyon is jaw dropping.
