So we did Devil's, Cathedral, and Slide Rock. Devil's was a great experience but it was our least favorite. There is a very long walk to the trail head down a dirt road with off-road vehicles passing all the time. Not relaxing. Once you get to the trail head. It's a pretty decent climb. The top is very cool and... 更多
WE tromped from the trailhead to the Devil's Bridge trail on the jeep road (missing our 4-WD vehicle on the East Coast) as we weren't sure how strenuous the more circuitous trail would be. We took the trail on the way back, though, and it was so much more pleasant that we would recommend the additional distance. The hike up... 更多
Our first hike in Sedona, but be prepared for a long trek to the trailhead. Not easily accessible by car. This hike had incredible views and gave us a serious case of red rock fever.
Unless you have a 4x4 vehicle to get closer to the trailhead it's a long hot walk on a dirt road to get to the trail. Be prepared for the crowds on the weekend. It's a beautiful view once you get to Devil's Bridge but be prepared for the long walk and brings lots of water.
Great hike, but don't think that your ordinary car will get you closer to the trail-head. We had to park quite away and hike to begin the assault to Devils Bridge. It was well worth it, though! Go early and beat the crowds!
My husband and I spent 3 days in Sedona. We hiked each of the vortex sites and, with two hours to spare on our last day, decided to do Devil's Bridge. We entered at the Mescal Trailhead, met with the Chuck Wagon Trail to Devils Bridge Trail. This was by far my favorite hike....scenic, interesting and had the best final... 更多
Get off you butt and get out here. I cannot put into words the sensory overload of beauty you'll see on this trail. Were I the discoverer of this scenic gem it would be called "Arch of Angels". Tips: wear, good, grippy shoes, hiking boots highly recommended, dress in layers so you can open and close your clothes as you... 更多
Long flat trail works up to a lovely climb which becomes quite steep near the top but their are steps which make it easier to accomplish.View is amazing and worth the effort.
This trail was intense and you need to be in shape and have no fear of climbing or heights. The bridge is like nothing you have ever seen before.
This is such a great hike, not too far out and fairly easy to get to. There are a couple areas that are a bit challenging but overall pretty easy. Great photo opportunities at the top.
Sedona is a beautiful village to stop by. We stopped there on our way to the Grand Canyon. I would not stay there for many days, but our full day there made us very glad with our decision to stop there. if you like hiking, Devil's Bridge is a great one. It is definitely not a difficult one, but the... 更多
There are at least three options for getting to the trail head so research them and choose wisely. We enjoyed the Chuckwagon trail head entrance which turned the hike into 4 miles round trip. This approach began with a vast open desert area which rapidly descended into mostly tree-covered landscape. It was unexpectedly beautiful and lush. Devil's Bridge trail was... 更多
This was our last hike before leaving Sedona, A true favorite. Very busy trail and long walk from parking lot on rocky road with 4 Wheel traffic and no shade...take plenty of water on a sunny hot day. Once on the actual trail it is pretty easy until you reach the top. It can be a bit challenging without good... 更多
