Visited the auto museum as part of a party and found it fascinating. The collection of cars, photographs and accessories from the various motorsports that Team Penske has been successful is very impressive. The exhibits are displayed in a great layout. Visitors can also view a great variety of modern cars at the adjoining dealerships.
Being from the Indianapolis area we had to visit this attraction. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more to see but since it is free I can't complain. It is worth a visit to see some nice race cars.
It's a small collection of racing cars, but glad they have a variety to look at. Love the 72 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Man, that car was a beauty during its day. I used to own a 72 Cyclone which looks similar having that monster grill up front!! That car had so much torque, you tap just slightly on the gas pedal... 更多
A nice collection of the significant race cars/engines in Roger Penske's career. The museum is tucked inside the his huge auto dealership complex, which is also a nice tour if you're into high end cars. Unfortunately the cafe and gift shop (2nd floor) was closed due to personnel change. Also, some advertised cars were on loan to other locations. Best... 更多
An attraction that you do not have to pay to get in but only 10 cars. Marlborough single seaters are awesome. Do visit the gift shop upstairs for some souvenirs especially the caps and lounge in front of racing clips TV with snacks available from cafeteriaa. REMEMBER - There is a Ferrari dealership next door
This a small museum with some of the cars that helped make Penske a major name in motorsports. The cars are interesting and the people are friendly.
Roger Penske, a race car driver himself, went on to own and run one of the greatest race teams that had not only great drivers such as Mario Andretti driving for him, but also incredible race cars such as the Penske Formula 1 car driven by Mark Donahue. The museum includes the actual NASCAR, INDY and sportcars that were raced... 更多
If you have any idea who Roger Penske is, and are visiting Phoenix, make the time to go see this museum, tucked away in the middle of the car dealerships he owns. His Indy winning cars are on display, as well as some of the trophies for NASCAR
Found this on Trip Advisor and decided to see it... not disappointed. It was free too! A rare event. Our teen son loves cars - especially fast and luxury ones. We were surrounded by all of that and more. Fun stop on our visit to Arizona.
If you are a racing fan then you need to make your way over to the Penske Racing Museum. There is a large collection of championship cars and trophies. Whether you are a stock car or an open wheel fan you will definitely appreciate the greatness inside the museum. The only caveat is that you may not take pictures of... 更多
