The Penske museum is good place for multi-generational families looking for something that everyone can enjoy. A large elevator make all areas of the museum handicap accessible. The staff are friendly and informative. There is a nice snack bar. Perfect for an outing when the temperature tops 110 degrees.
I'm a big fan of Roger Penske and his Nascar teams, so on race weekend it was fitting that we go to the museum. Admission is free and the auto displays give you a glimpse into Penske's past and what he has accomplished in his life and racing. The facility is quite spacious and has a snack bar and a... 更多
We were in Scottsdale for a week prior to the Nascar race and drove by luxury auto row. In the midst of it is this free museum. It was very clean and modern. The lady at the front desk was cheerful and informative. It took less than an hour to look at the cars and the trophy cases.
This "museum" is in Scottsdale and is part of an automart owned by him. It is a nice bright modern building with some of the race cars on the bottom floor and models, trophies and items you can buy on the second floor. There is a reasonably priced snack bar but items for purchase are quite expensive. I expected more... 更多
Roger Penske's racing ventures span a wide range from Indy Car to NASCAR and even IROC. Fine examples of each can be found at this excellent museum tucked between exotic car dealerships (be sure to visit Lamborghini next door). Also a huge trophy display and Penske merchandise for sale. Best of all, it's free!
This was a hidden treasure. I did not expect to find the extensive collection here. If you love racing of any sort, it is well worth the time to make the visit.
We went to the free for admission Penske Racing Museum. It was fun to see these superb racing cars. There was nice descriptions of the drivers as well. There was also Indianapolis 500 pace cars to see. On the 2nd floor of the museum there is a cafe (sometimes open). There is also many championship racing awards, a tourist store,... 更多
It may be a small museum, but wow! What a lot of racing history and memories. Classic racing cars at their best. There were even bricks made into a walkway that were made by the same company that made the original bricks for "The Brickyard". The only downer, was that photos of any of the Marlboro cars were not allowed... 更多
We found this free exhibit amongst a number of high end car dealerships. Although not huge racing fans we decided to stop in. We were rewarded with a very entertaining set of exhibits of racing cars which even the casual fan will recognize (or at least recognize their drivers). A hard core racing fan will find the museum of even... 更多
Changes constantly. Beautiful faciity. For the Indianoplis Racing public, an opportunity to get up close to the historical winning cars over the many years.
