No trip to Prescott would be complete without a walk down Whiskey Row to see shops, galleries featuring local art and eateries...the only problem is that there are a few bars along the way, and smokers stand right on the sidewalk in front of the doors of said bars. If this isn't a problem for you, you will have plenty... 更多
Whiskey Row is where the western nostalgia of old Prescott begins. Take some time to stroll the streets and stop in a bar or two for a drink. Across the way is the courthouse - an architectural delight. Be sure to shop the St. Michael Shops. I picked up some great stoneware coffee mugs at the gallery. I so want... 更多
Whiskey row is the drinking and fun part of the plaza. Pub crawl to each cool place on the row and enjoy being a part of the old west scene. There is happy hour so check it out and grab a bite with your drink.
Whether it's the impressive 4th of July parade or the worlds oldest rodeo, Prescott is a great place to spend time. When it's 110* in Phoenix,it will be 85 to 90 with a nice breeze in Prescott. It has a very nice town square with large shade trees surrounded by a nice downtown which includes Whiskey Row. Prescott is also... 更多
Fun and totally unexpected day in Prescott on Whiskey Row. Explored several shops and galleries around the historic town square. Ate a nice lunch at Bistro St. Michael to refuel. Historic building with great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely return!
The restaurant has the western feel down to a t with cool displays of original artifacts. You can even see the bullet holes in the ceiling. Steak was tender, baked potato was delicious. The barbecue wings were great as well-and if you have room, you gotta get the palace pie, perfect for sharing
So much history in a small area, signs and artifacts take you back to early Arizona great meals good drink prices, and you can do what we did, A pub crawl and hit all the bars/restaurants on the row, great way to spend a day!
The shopping experience and the available restaurants on the street across from the Court House will keep you busy, for hours.
The historic downtown Whiskey Row is beautiful this time of year - just make sure you wear your jackets and gloves. The lights of the courthouse decorated for Christmas surrounded my shops and restaurants truly give you the feel of walking through a history book.
If you have not been to Whiskey row then you are missing a cool little town. Prescott was the capital of Arizona at one time. There is a lot of history and you can walk around the square in the center of town and relax. A nice place to visit and not be rushed to do anything.
