It was our first visit to the caverns. My daughter has always been interested in rocks and she really enjoyed herself. She talked the poor guide's ear off! 101 questions. It was a neat visit....and there's even a hotel room you can stay in at the bottom of the caverns. I don't know if I'd brave it but it was... 更多
What a great place to visit. I highly recommend you put this attraction on your to do list if your ever in Arizona. Great natural wonder. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable we had the 3pm tour it was just my husband and I, so our tour guide was able to take his time giving us the tour as well... 更多
Found this place by accident on the internet. Looked really good. Easy to find on Route 66. People very friendly and helpful. The tour is amazing with a lot of humour thrown in. The restaurant is pretty good as well. Really good value.
I loved this place, though I'll admit at first blush it was a little run-down looking. But I think that's the source of its charm. Grand Canyon Caverns is situated on historic route 66, and is a prime example of an old-timey roadside motel, complete with old automobiles parked out front, giant plastic dinosaur sculptures, serviceable low-cost motel rooms and... 更多
Our second time. Great place to bring guests. This is a VAST DRY CAVE. You go down in a elevator and the paths are easy and well marked with handrails. Colored light and crystals make this a beautiful experience and one room holds a surprise that I just can't spoil -but the claw tells it all. Well worth the money.... 更多
Don't hesitate to go 'not too far' off the beaten path for this adventure! Went for Route 66 nostalgia. Got that plus a really great Cavern tour. Staff is committed to friendly and accommodating customer service and obsessed with cleanliness! Campground and bathrooms were spotless. Never saw a piece of trash anywhere! Sunset was beautiful from our very quiet campsite!... 更多
Very informative tour. They offer different tour based on the length of the tour. I believe the hotter, less expensive tours will be fine for most folks. I have some mobility problems and taking the tour was not difficult. the gift shop is well organized and staff is very helpful.
Our guide was personable and very good . I had never been in a dry cave . Very different than other caves I have been in . Could be some challenging walking if you are not sure footed.. Not sure it's worth 21 dollars but what the heck .
We did the 45-55 minute tour and loved it! So educational and our tour guide David kept it fun! The gift shop had many "old" items that were really fun to see. Completely worth the trip to breathe the dry 2.5 week old air from the Grand Canyon.
