We bused through this area going from Bariloche to San Martin and there was a surprise around every bend. Would definitely recommend renting a car and driving through on your own!
I took the flight from Buenos Aires to Bariloche. Then I rented a car at that airport and took the RN 40 towards Villa la Angostura. Stayed there for 2 nights and then headed towards San Martin de los Andes. After 4 nights, took the flight in San Martín to Buenos Aires (returned the rented car at the San Martin... 更多
100 miles of beautiful landscapes: mountains, forests and, obviously, lakes! The road was recently paved and is in good condition. Take your time and stop at every view point to enjoy the landscape and take pictures. Ideal for bikers or hitchhikers, you can spend the night (or days) in almost every lake.
We took a drive above and around the seven lakes. There so many beautiful views from the road and spots to stop and take pictures.
