It is a very well kept mountain village with a view of Mediterranean Sea. The small orange tree gardens are on the both sides of the street which goes up to the church. You can find locally hand-made jams and liquors at the house under the church as well.
Quiet, friendly people, simple life, clean, beautiful view of Samandag beach, green garden and farm, and not too far away from city center ... what else? We have seen the process of cutting the stone near the church.
With some friends, we bought some wine and jam. Before the friendly lady offered us wine tasting and cherry is the best....
A nice Armenian village with a wonderful church. It is so clean, so quiet that you do not want to go anywhere else. They have a kiosk where they sell homemade wine, different liquors, jams , etc for a very reasonable price.
Anyone interested in the history of the Armenian people must visit this quaint and charming village in the hills of Hatay. The views are excellent and the rebuilt Armenian church should be visited as well.
