The food and the service was delicious and perfect. It couldn't have been better! I've never had such a amazing dinner before. But unfortunately something bad happened I have to say. When we were about to leave the restaurant and wen to our car, the window was broken...someone broke into our car and stole several things, luckily nothing essential. However... 更多
Haven't been to this farm in 24 years. The wines are still as fantastic as I remember them. The tasting venue features a deck with tables outside, with view Les across the vineyards. The wines for tasting are brought to your table. You have three tasting options. Take the full tasting option. Their single vineyard wines are a little over... 更多
Set in the rolling hills near Stellenbosch, can be a bit hard to find down a long country road. Sells all red wines - merlot, shiraz, Cab and blends. One of the favorite wines or Mandela and highly rated by oenologists and travel companies. A peaceful oasis to savor fine wine.
Waited an hour an 10 minutes to be presented with scraps of chips, dry meat (I requested medium rare) and soggy bits of lettuce meant to pass as a side salad. Will not set foot nor recommend this establishment to anyone. Sent my meal back and waitron was astute enough to compliment my bill for 2 adults and 1 child.
This place was truly amazing. The setting on the winery to everyone who was working there. Was sat outside to start with and we had a amazing G&T to start the night off and they had this cool trolley with all these different kinds of drinks in it. Inside was awesome to with a open kitchen so we could see... 更多
Can't ask anymore really. Amazing 4 course menu with wine pairing. The gin tonic I drunk was simply divine and the cheese cart full of African cheeses was fun and delicious. Great service , people who do their work with passion and it shows. Will definitely come back
I visited about twenty wineries during my time in Stellenbosch and even though I seldom got bad wine, this winery definitely has the best red wines. It is also a beautiful place to visit and the food was smelling delicious from where we were sitting.
My husband and I spent 3 days in the Stellenbosch area visiting 6 or 7 wineries. Established in 1694, the Rust En Vrede (Rest and Peace) was the highlight of all the wineries for both the wine and the food. Their focus is on full bodies red wines and they are delicious with a full finish! They were nominated as... 更多
