Beautiful, different from the conventional. A real landmark of the city of George, central, within walking distance of several hotels, guesthouses and restaurants.
What a majestic and beautiful piece of architecture against the backdrop of mountains or sky. A little bit of history: The cornerstone of this magnificent Mother Church was laid in 1832. The stunning white Dutch Reformed Mother Church. Beautiful on the inside and the outside. Definitely a must see when visiting George in The Garden Route
A most interesting interior, this building is photogenic both inside and outside. The wood used is all local and the design is wonderful.
This church has a special organ inside but is renowed for its yellow wood ceiling. This gives the church a unique atmosphere. Since George is important for its wood this is the place to have a celining like that.
An awesome structure that has a great history, beautiful architecture, national treasure. Stop if you can go inside and revel in some history, if you cant stop at least turn your head an marvel at this treasure.
