The George Museum is well laid out with a wealth of information on the area. The exhibitions are interesting and accessible. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A must visit.
a little disappointed in what the museum has on show Not helpfull staff and did not have any knowledge on the items displayed Had some nice artwork from southern cape artists

The Museum is located in an old historical building and filled with history, development of the furniture industry and beautiful historic furniture, as well as nice works of art. It gives you a insight into the beautiful city of George. Located in the heart of The Garden Route at the foot of The Magnificent Outeniqua Mountains. Highly recommended!
