Called in for a wine tasting a couple of weeks ago and was very disappointed with the measly amount of wine served, it hardly wet the glass! We thought their wine was expensive and the tasting was rushed. This place was definately not for us! Went next door and had a much better wine tasting experience.
We stopped by to sample some wines. They have comfortable places for you to sit while you taste the wines. There were many wines I liked, both red and white. They also have some very good prices for shopping wine to the U.S.
We only did the wine tasting here, but found it to be really enjoyable. The setting is beautiful, old style Dutch colonial, and the tasting is an unhurried affair with knowledgeable staff explaining the wines to you. There was a bit of cheese to go with the wine, although a bit more would probably have persuaded us to part with... 更多
The Klein Constantia wine estate looks marvelous and has a great history. The wine tasting we did was a bit disappointing however. It was the first time we had to do the tasting standing up with little space to move around, and an intrusive neighbor who kept narrowing my space and also did not allow the lady who served us... 更多
This is a beautiful, old winery located on the outskirts of Cape Town. A good selection of local wines with knowledgeable staff to help guide you. Enjoyable!
My wife and I decided to pop into one of our most famous local wine farms for a cheeky Sunday afternoon wine tasting, and were immediately welcomed by the friendly hosts. The wine's spoke for themselves, and two of them ( the MCC Brut & Dry Riesling ) were so good they gave me goosebumps. The light rose' was also... 更多
Visiting Klein Constantia is a wonderful treat. We were on a full day tour of the Cape, and our guide asked what we were interested in seeing. It wS a private tour so he listened to what we wanted to do, and when I said wine this was his first suggestion. I'm so glad it was! The drive to Klein... 更多
Absolutely a must on your wine tasting route. The first winery in SA with a mini museum on entry. Tasting according to my friends as i dont drink was the best from the places we've been with the highlight to taste the 4star desert wine which is rated the best in SA.
I quite enjoyed the visit to this winery. The staff was very knowledgeable and the wines were interesting. They have the only Reislinfg in the region, which was quite interesting and not sweet. I bought a bottle to take with me. The absolute winner though is their dessert wine, developed from a 200+ years old bottle found buried. Best dessert... 更多
