Last night my mother and myself had a girls night out, and we decided to go to The Labia. Its a must! Its the only cinema that I know of where you can order more than just popcorn, you can order wine, gin and coffee, with quiches, phyllo pastries and more, and then go in and watch your movie whilst... 更多
This was the perfect way place to stumble upon while attempting to hide from the rain.. This place just takes you back in time and gives you a very authentic cinema going experience with the old school interior.. Inc.. Old school ticket and Popcorn stand.. There was a great selection of movies, and afterwards the gastro pubs close by just... 更多
The independent movie theatre is a Cape Town must see/ experience. What a fabulous experience to view a movie here. Also look out for the art festivals and once off launches at this cinema. The toilets have been refurbished, the car guard out if front was friendly and the whole experience was enjoyable. Ideal for those who love authentic cinema.
Take some time to spoil yourself and watch a movie in a historical little theatre. There are velvet seats and a cute little box office. Buy ur popcorn and a glass of wine and relax and enjoy. The theatre shows some lovely old shows and up to date films. Its a landmark place in cape town. All shows R45
I discovered this gem on a 'date' night in Cape Town. As an actor myself, I will continue to support such intimate little theaters. Service was excellent, vibe was absolutely incredible. I true gem worth preserving.
a rare indie-flavored theater (tho there was a lot of hollywood fare). Has a cool siltting/gathering area where you are likely to strike up a conversation with some other quirky intellectual types (I guess that describes the kind of person who might like alternative cinema, and thus Labia, in the first place). tasty little confections and progressive vibe. great for... 更多
Whenever we want a low key night out we gravitate towards the labia theatre. This time we took advantage of the dinner and a movie combo and had a pizza practically for free. Nice people, different films, low cost, and a beer while you watch. Love it every time.
Never knew this existed. We ordered pizza from cafe diva and could take it into the theatre. It was pouring outside and we could see they were doing some restorations outside so it might look even better soon. Ordered some drinks and got the cutest tickets from an old style booth. We were greeted by a lovely old man who... 更多
Labia is an ancient old movie house, but they show the latest releases - lots and lots of leg room - and you can take your glass of wine in with you. Dinner at Society Bistro and a movie on a Monday or Tuesday night for R45! Bargain!
