Beautiful and a great way to see Cape Town. Loved the 360 cable car. Although, I wish there were more cable cars because we spent more time waiting in line to get down than actually walking around at the top. Also, experienced load shedding while waiting in line to go up, but not much you can do about that. Definitely... 更多
Having tried to visit twice in the past, but the mountains was in cloud. It was a joy to see the sunshine and a blue sky, After the ride up it was wonderful to see the views out to sea, including Robbin Island.
We didn't have time to hike up so we just used the cable car, which was remarkably fast once we were on-board, but there was a bizarre queuing system that featured lifts, waiting pens and ticket checks. Obviously the view from Table Mountain is spectacular on a clear day, but remember that it can be a lot colder than the... 更多
We rode the cable car - breathtaking. We arrived to a cloud covered mountain view, but as the clouds cleared, we were treated to a beautiful view of the Cape Town landscape and the coast. Don't miss this!
What can I say that hasn't been said before? Just visit it. After all - its is one of the new 7 world's wonders, and when you will be there, you will understand why. We went on a weekday, later afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. We saw the amazing sunset, and took the last cable car down. Perfect!
On a perfect sunny day, you can't beat the beauty and serenity of the site. Great rotating cable car ride to the top with unbelievable views in every corner! Truly a majestic site, not to be missed. Easy to see why Capetonians are so proud of their Table Top Mountain!
Cable care was not that busy but once you leave the station the journey was nice with a revolving floor so everyone got to see the amazing views. It was just amazing at the top as the view was stunning.
Only deducting a star because the cable car stopped working and we had to climb all the way down. Please be careful in case you are traveling with an elderly or a physically unfit person as I hear the cable car shuts quite frequently because of strong winds.
Our third trip up table mountain in 10 years, and it's still amazing! This time we decided to make the trip in the afternoon, having pre-booked the tickets so we didn't have to queue for them. In fact there was no queueing at all. We arrived just before 4 pm, had a good walk/scramble right around the top of the... 更多

As the name tells, it is just like a table on the top of the hill.Very vast with clean loos, nu\ce restaurant, curio shop and we could see a few exotic small animals. The weather keeps on changing very quickly..The view of the Atlantic ocean and city of Cape Town is simply mind blowing.
Definitely do this while you are in Cape Town - the views are incredible! There are also many hiking trails of various difficulty levels. You could easily spend 1-2 hours at the top of the mountain.
