Although I believe this blockhouse was restored a few years ago - lack of follow-up interest has allowed it to fall to vandalism and is now in poor condition. problem is that it is not very easy to get to and is away from the main areas of attraction. There is no way to gain access to the interior.
Worthwhile just for the quick stop and take a look at how the construction works, read about the buildings when younger in history books but good to see them and how well they were build. Only outer building remains, inner deck is gone.
