Newtown has been upgraded and offers a brand new shopping mall. While strolling through Newtown you can still see some old buildings and get closer to art and a touch of Africa.
Ample parking is available in front of Museum Africa and the car guards ensure that it is a safe place to leave your car.

You must make a trip to Newtown, The Workshop in the Newtown mall is amazing. You will find vendors with unique Afrocentric accessories, clothing, shoes, and fabrics. Have some Dim Sum; they can make gluten free dim sum too or pick up some organic beauty products.
