I went there a few times already. You will understand a lot more history from this town. I love to visit all of their art shops. I will love to go back there every once a year.
We stopped at this mine museum after lunch and it was totally worth it! It was a very quick stop; 30 min-1 hour depending on your pace. We wandered into this museum after lunch and were delighted by the quality of the exhibits and the excellent overview of the town and mining operation. This is more than worth the $2 admission.
This is a no-brainer. Stop in between visiting the shops and restaurants to get a good overview of Jerome's history. The shop in front has some interesting gifts, but the real value is the museum. For just a buck or two you can support the Historical Society that saved Jerome in the 50's by promoting it as a ghost town.... 更多
