It had been almost one year since I had visited Burning Tree Cellars. I had brought Italian dry salami, Hevarti cheese and sourdough bread for lunch. I sat outside on the patio and they brought the tasting to my table. The weather was beyond perfect. The pours were generous and the wines, as always, were terrific. These are delicious Rhone... 更多
My husband and I visited this winery because we were staying at the Inn next door. It was very inviting and a cute set up. The staff member was very nice and answered all our questions. She told me right away they really didn't have sweet wines. Personally, I love semi sweet and sweet wines. So I was pretty bummed... 更多
We visited this winery after spending a while across the street at Stronghold. Great big room for tastings, interesting labels/names, and they are creative in their combinations for wines. Knowledgeable staff.
A really lovely experience front the front patio with live music in the evening, to the big beautiful tastingroom. Lots of wines to choose from, your sure to find at least one to take home. I really loved the location and the staff was friendly, helpful, not snobbish or pushy at all.
This tasting room is excellent! The atmosphere and attentive staff are just the beginning. The wines are amazing and the run the gambit from novice to expert as far as their approachability. Plus, the staff's knowledge goes well beyond simple tasting notes and pairings. These well informed people can explain every part of the wine growing and wine making process... 更多
Of the Cottonwood wineries this was by far our favorite. Our waitress explained so much about the wines, the grapes, the soil..... It was incredible. As a wine fanatic I learned TONS about wine in general here. Their wine was also delicious.... We had a hard time deciding on which bottles to buy. Highly recommend!!!
The tasting room in Cottonwood is comfortable with nice tables and chairs indoors and out. It is a relaxing place with some really good wine. I also got the charcuterie plate which was also great. I have to go back for another bottle of Austranger (or some such name) - a really fabulous white wine.
Accidental stop-in...we loved that the wines had art inspired labels and enjoyed the owners stories about Cottonwood. We were made to feel very welcome and our pallets found the $10 tasting to be worth the sips. Personally, I liked that the owners took over and remodeled a town building instead of tearing down and building a new place. Took home... 更多
Mitch and his staff are really great people, are very knowledgeable on wine and they have an excellent tasting room. Highly recommend it as a destination in Cottonwood! From Keith & Amy :)
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent wines, especially the reds. My new favorite is "The Reflection" a red blend of Petite Verdot and Petite Sirah reminiscent of Michael David's "Petite Petit". Comfy couches if you want to sit and sip, but I recommend standing at the tasting bar as the server will generally give you more information about the wines. After you... 更多
