This unique mine tour takes you on an actual mining train into the mines with stops along the way to learn about the mines and what it meant to work in them. We were fortunate that our excellent tour guide spoke from his first hand experience as a miner in that very mine and made it come alive for us.... 更多
My wife and I went here some years back and to this day I still can remember going down the tunnels on the train and feeling the air change from hot and humid to cool and dry. It is really a cool experience...literally. That far underground the air is very cold, low 50's and when you are down there for... 更多
Worth your time, especially if it's hot outside. It's cool and dark inside, and you get to ride a train so it's not strenuous at all. I had a hard time understanding our tour guide; he's an older fella and spoke kind of low and gravelly. I would have liked to see more than we did; I think it lasted... 更多
They give you a hard hat, a light, a vest and a belt to hold it all together and you ride a tram down into the mine. You get off the tram a few times (3 total) to see different rooms - a large room where they had found a lot of copper, where the elevator shaft was and I... 更多

Guided tours provided by former miners of this mine, very informative, educational and downright fun! You'll enjoy it and a great time for everyone in the family.
Just as informational as it is fun, the Queen Mine is great for people of all ages. The humorous tour guides actually WORKED in the mine, so their tales are first-hand.
My 9 year old is quite the little rock hound and enjoyed the tour so much she wanted to do it again when we got back up to the surface. It was informative and the guide was great.
The mine experience is nice. Our guide, Doyle had worked in the mine and still does repairs there. It's interesting to learn more about the mining experiences. You do get off the cart and do some walking. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is handicapped.
