A great stop on the way to or from Nan Madol. A very short walk to a tranquil waterfall. Very pretty. Great photo op. It costs a few dollars to enter as it seems like the walk is through private land.
Make sure you have the suit on and come. We are lunch at the falls and went in. Shoes recommended as it is not deep. Rocks on the bottom. Water is cold as it is fresh.
You could miss the trail to he falls if you blink. Close to Nan Madol, should be combined with a trip to see it. Short trail, scenic views all the way to the falls. Platform to sit on and have lunch at base of falls, water looks enticing, but it is recommended not to swim in it.
Spent Christmas in Pohnpei and made this a must to see. Track was clear and from afar the majestic roar can be heard it just makes you more eager to get there. One will not be disappointed it's nature at its majestic best and just surrounded by nature its a gem in its tropical setting.
