You'll be glad you stopped in as the information available on local attractions and places to stay are plentiful. The staff are helpful and down to earth. It makes sense to get free advice from the people who live here. Also, people who are not profiting by pointing you to a particular attraction even though it isn't right for you.... 更多
We stopped here before taking a walk through the 'old town'. We picked up some brochures and looked at the displays and artifacts. Worth a short visit.
It's not huge by any stretch of the imagination, but it is free and had some very interesting history and displays. Clean and well maintained.
Nice collection of local history, artifacts, art and taxidermy. Small gift shop and a good collection of local books, some written by local writers. Very new and modern. Built in 1991 to celebrate the BiCentenial of the city of Kenai as a Russian Ametican village.
Lots of information both from the brochure and the staff. They are super nice and informative. The museum is cool to see what the area offers historically and in the now. With large models and artifacts. Not a huge museum but large enough to show what they had in mind too! Good place to do a quick tour of and... 更多
Beautiful grounds. We went in on a sunday morning. Was empty. Went through visitors center and it was clean and informative. Looks like a massive reserve. We did a short hike on a trail. Then the mosquitos ate us up. Im sure there it a TON more to explore.
the center is well staffed and very informative. the scale model of the platform is excellent and provides a great understanding of drilling. the exhibits are great!
This is a very different visitors center. When you walk in the first thing you notice is all of the stuffed birds. It has one of the largest collection of eagles. The displays were very informative. The staff was very helpful with all of our questions. Make this your first stop and get all that is happening in Kenai.
