Beautiful scenery. Some climbing. Absolutely worth the effort. Clear pools and roaring waterfalls through the forest make for a photo and mind relaxing experience.
Went to Homestead Park on Douglas Island across from Juneau Alaska while on a city tour. It is a small park on 3rd street that gives a great view of the Harbor. We only stayed for 20 minutes as we were on a tour. Hiked down to the waters edge it was an easy hike. I posted it here on... 更多
Cope Park is pretty little local park within walking distance to the cruise ship docks, just a bit past the Governor's House, but unfortunately it is undergoing construction this summer (2016) and access may be limited.
I was born and raised in Juneau and have been to this park many times over the years. It has some picnic tables under some evergreens, some swings, & large toys for kids to climb on. There is also a tennis court. It's near Gold Creek set near the base of the mountain. The best time to visit the park... 更多
