Took the tram (gondola) to the top of the mountain and it was great. A nice Alaskan sunny summer day, with views to remember forever. Though the restaurant on top was being remodeled, snacks can be had at the gift shop, and it is only a 30 minute wait to go back to the beautiful hotel/lodge below. If you are... 更多
Overall we had a fun time in Alyeska ski area. We stayed at the hotel Alyeska where we enjoyed the nice indoor heated pool and surrounding grounds. It was also great access to some great trails. We also dined at the Seven Glaciers - pricey but worth the expense. The tram was fun when it was clear. It was a... 更多
My experience of the ski area was just average. My first issue was that when I booked my room, it clearly stated that there was free access to the gondola to take me up to the ski slope and top. This was not the case, as the operator charged me to go up and come back down. When I reached... 更多
Wife and I decided to stay the night here while traveling back from anchorage and we enjoyed the area which was clean and well maintained. The snow was melting as the season was over but we did get to see some of the surrounding area. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the nice area around hotel... 更多
Alyeska is easily the best downhill skiing in Alaska. It has slopes of all varieties, and the run can be pretty long if taken from the very top.....also, powder is pretty common at the top run. It's never really crowded, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink at the botto. Alyeska Hotel is a great place to... 更多
This was a very nice resort to stay at. Although it was not ski season they adapt to the other seasons very well and provide plenty of activities such as hiking, site seeing and others. They are a full service resort with all of the amenities. Be sure to ride the gondola to the top of the mountain where you... 更多
Took the cable car to the top of the mountain and had lunch. A wonderful view and lunch can be part of the ticket price. Best to go on a clear day!
the drive from Anchorage to Girdwood is beautiful. Girdwood is a tiny ski resort town about 30 miles south of Anchorage. It was worldclass skiing with runs from beginner to expert, great snackbars, mid level dining and fine dining at the top of MT. Alyeska, a beautiful enclosed TRAM to take you to the top of the mountain to all... 更多
Went there for the weekend and it was as breath taking as you could ever see a must visit if you are here. Just a short drive from Anchorage.
