Rika's Roadhouse & Landing is an excellent feature of Big Delta State Park. It provides a very real look into the past! The site was frequented by travelers, miners, hunters, traders, and the military in the early 1900s. Rika's Roadhouse was managed by a Swedish immigrant (Rika Wallen) beginning in 1917 and it has been very well-maintained to this day.... 更多
I enjoyed the space of the park and the historical building that were exhibited there. Especially liked the wooden houses and the different styles of construction. Rita's Roadside Cafe found in the park providing soup, pulled pork, dogs and homemade pie. Good place to eat.
My wife and I stopped here during our five week canoe trip down the Tanana River. The Park is right along the river. The historical Road House and buildings are well worth a visit to learn the history of the area. The food at the café was a big disappointment, serving only premade sandwiches, soup and some bakery items. They... 更多

This was a nice stop on a long day of road travel for a quick bite and stretch . The food was not great but clean and a cute gift shop with different items.
If you are driving through Alaska make sure to drive through the town of Delta Junction. Rika's Roadhouse inside the park has a great free walk through on your own tour of the roadhouse and outbuildings. Make sure you stop in the gift store! Staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate lunch in the cafe and the homemade soups... 更多
Located in Big Delta Historical Park, Rika's Roadhouse is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. Stables, outbuildings, and an excellent kitchen garden greet visitors approaching the roadhouse. The house museum is decorated in the period of 1920's-1930's with photo and written documentation explaining the significance of the roadhouse. Once the site of a ferry crossing, the house faces Tanana... 更多
