Beautiful architecture. Lovely history. This is a nice building to look at and read up on the jungle train history. I took the train from here many times when it was operative from San Jose to Limon in the early 1980s. Brought back many memories. Nice to include on a walking, exploring tour of San Jose.
We were walking by this on the way to a restaurant and stopped in to have a look, not a lot for a tourist as far as historical displays, but a nice building none the less. There was a number of pieces of street art nearby that were very pretty.
Nice historic railway stop in San José's east side...needs more information for visitors. Much history to be told about Minor Keith and the banana plantations...this was the link to the Atlantic Coast before the 1960's
