I was with a set tour with Colletts, our tour manager recommended us to get up early, we arrived at 7.30 and found the park with a few public. Our tour Manager is great he can look into a tree and spot any thing. For this reason i thought this park wa great. We left by 12.00-noon At this time... 更多
After reading other reviews and literature, we decided to be at the Park when it opened. I cannot stress the importance of getting there as early as possible. We took the bus from Quepos which was an easy trip. Make sure you have cash, as the entrance fee cannot be paid by credit card. As we approached the entrance we... 更多
We loved our walk through Manuel Antonio National Park with our local guide, George. We saw lizards, frogs, monkeys, birds, and sloths. We would not have been able to spot any of them except the monkeys if we had not had a guide. It is much cheaper to find your own guide than book a tour through the hotel (we... 更多
A bit touristic of course but this park is absolutely worth is; the animal viewing is unbeatable and the beach front, wonderful. Make sure to tour with a guide who can show you the animals.
If you go here definitely get a guide, they know where all the natural wildlife is and look where you would never know to look, they are informative and help you get the best out of the park
If you like looking for wildlife with 200 hundred other tourists, then you might enjoy this park. But, that is not for us. We (two couples) were picked up by a local guide from our rental home (about 10 minutes from the park) at 7:30 am and got to the park early, but the place was already super busy, on... 更多

The guides had telescopes on tripods and showed us birds and even frogs with them. Nice beach to swim. Just very popular so go early in the day.
I visited in March and the weather was very warm/hot. I spent 2 days at the national park and for good reason. The first day was warm and cloudy and I saw one sloth, capuchin monkeys and raccoons. However the next day was very hot and sunny and I came across every animal that can be seen in the park... 更多
