We had an amazing tour with Antonio. He was so great at his job and went above and beyond. We saw crocodiles, igaunas, howler and white faced monkeys, and tons of birds. He also stopped to get a large grasshopper and show it to us up close, as well as drag a net to catch a fish and show us.... 更多
The driver picked us up at our home we were staying at. The hour drive gave us a chance to learn all about the area of Costa Rica we were visiting. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the animals. We arrived to get on the boat for an 1.5 hour tour. We saw many monkeys, crocodiles, bats,... 更多
We took the boat tour during the rainy season and had a great time. Saw at least 10 HUGE crodociles, 3 different colonies of howler monkeys, a bunch of bats and iguanas. Our tour guide from Swiss Travel had a great eye and knew all of the birds we saw on the trip. Even spotted 2 barely visible baby crocodiles.... 更多
We booked this tour through Mardigi Tour organization. The tour started right from the time we were picked up from our resort. Our tour guide, Marvin, shared so much information with us as we made our way to the boat dock. We traveled in a small comfortable 8 passenger air conditioned van. The drive to the area was as enjoyable... 更多
We heard so many good things about Palo Verde that we drove from Tamarindo. We enjoyed the drive and mixed with the locals. The park was even better. Lots of wildlife (coati, pileated woodpeckers, monkeys, etc.), beautiful waterfalls, and interesting background information everything there. Despite the long drive, it was worth it.
Booked the boat trip through our hotel. Expected to see crocs, monkeys and exotic birds by the score. However, we were a little disappointed by their absence despite our 5 am start from the hotel. We were then talking to people at the hotel who had visited the park the next day and they saw a multitude of animals.
I went on a boat tour with an outside company. I love animals, so I was looking forward to seeing a ton of them, especially monkeys. I did get to see and photograph some monkeys, but I was a bit disappointed in the amount of animals that I saw in all. The boat ride through Palo Verde was also super... 更多
We booked our boat tour through Tours Your Way and requested the 8am timeslot as earlier reviews stated animals are most active in the early morning. This strategy did not disappoint! We saw howlers and white-faced capuchin, crocs, bats, and lots of other animals. Our captain was Felix, also nicknamed 'Eagle-Eye' and he would pull up very close to the... 更多
My crew from Canada booked the Palo Verde tour with Thumbs Up Day Tours that are highly recommended for nature tours, one of the many things we learned was that monkeys or wildlife shouldn't be fed because they will slowly but surely lose their instincts to hunt and rely on us humans for food, monkeys in brazil, mexico and other... 更多
