Interesting drive up as the brakes on the bus were giving the driver a problem. Volcano is in the Cloud Forest and we were prepared for a lot of rain - but we lucked out and got none. After entering the park you walk up a fairly gentle road to the top of the volcano - walk is just over... 更多
Odds are you wont see the volcano. We drove all the way here so when the gate said it was cloudy we got out and took a walk anyway. It was a short walk on a paved path. You can make it in a wheel chair if needed. Good luck seeing the volcano. Its hit or miss with the clouds.... 更多
Our guide was NOT turned away by the lady at the gate who told him that the clouds were in and there was no view...thankfully! When we got to the viewing station there were clouds but patience was rewarded by wonderful clear sights of the volcano. The sulfur smoke was blowing away but signs warn you not to be there... 更多
The colours of the volcano are stunning. High above the clouds is this beautiful crater. A short walk takes you to another old crater that is now a beautiful little lake. A must see when in Costa Rica.
I know this is supposed to be an incredible sight to see, but considering the constant clouds and rain in this rainforest, how many people actually get to see the volcano? On our visit, nothing but thick clouds with no indication a volcano was even there. Granted, it is a rainforest and you sort of expect this, but just go... 更多

This was very interesting view also for the little children as far as I could see from the excitement of the kids visiting there at the... 更多
lovely area, cool. Everything well marked. An educational adventure for our family of 12. I would recommend this trip especially for families with children.
It was a beautiful, clear day. We were able to see inside the volcano, and watch fluffy, white clouds float all around us. What an adventure!
