We enjoyed our round of golf on the Dogwood Course - the course is well maintained and the scenery is beautiful - with all the old Live Oaks - absolutely great. Since we stayed at the hotel this was ideal just to drive across and enjoy this facility - another great Robert Trent Jones course. Will be back!!
This is a very nice course and we enjoyed playing it. Our only issue was that there were maintenance people out the entire time we were there except for 2 holes. I get that they've got to clean up at some point, but honestly, if you are going to charge more than $100 a round, then maybe your groundskeepers need... 更多
We played this course as part of a road trip to play some of the Robert Trent Jones golf trail. We were able to get off at 7:20 in the morning as a twosome and had an uninterrupted round on a lovely and somewhat challenging course. We were warned that the mosquito population was in full force and advised to... 更多
My husband and I absolutely loved both golf courses! We played Azalea and Dogwood and would come back and play them again. The staff is so nice and helpful. Our experience was wonderful. My husband has a 7 handicap and I have a "20" (I can't believe i admitted that) but we both enjoyed the course. I really didn't find... 更多
Loved our evening of drinks before heading into Fairhope at this historic, warm lodge-feeling golf club. Alex was our bartender and he was exceptional. Knowledgable, attentive and friendly. If you're staying at the Grand Hotel sneak over to this hidden gem for a drink.. Even if you're not playing golf.
We played the Azalea course. It is a lovely course. Very playable. Conditions were good. The greens were very smooth. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Had lunch at the club after the round. Best seafood bisque ever. The BLT was awesome too. Our server was great. Very welcoming even though it is a members facility (sometimes they aren't).... 更多
The Dogwood course is a good layout with water in play on many of the holes. As a group it has a great set of par three holes. Course was in good shape for this early in the spring. Unfortunately they had the driving range shut down but had provided hitting nets to allow for a little warm-up
Played Lakewood Golf Club in an outing. The course is beautiful and was in very good condition. There are two 18-hole courses. They are called the Dogwood Course and Azalea Course. Both are par-72. The staff was great. There is both sand and water, but not in excess. A fun and challenging round of golf can be had.
