These trails are well traveled. Walkers and bicycles, older and younger residents and visitors enjoy this park. This park is a lovely cool oasis in the heat of the day. It is natural, with many identifying signs of the flora.
We have made great use of the trails for cycling in the last couple of months. They are well maintained and are always being expanded. Parking at the trailhead is good as are washrooms along the paths.
a wonderful nature trail which can be seen by bike/walking or running.Great for all family members including wheelchairs on most of the areas. bathrooms are available from time to time. Some shaded areas.
We enjoyed the walk although there's a very long boardwalk that was unfinished. It's a nice change from the beach to be able to walk through the woods. We did not see any wild life, though.

My wife & I took our bikes to the park & rode for 1 1/2 hours today. Everything was maintained well & restrooms were clean. Lots of friendly folks walking, biking, & running the trails. Saw a couple of alligators and a black racer snake. Wish all parks were this organized and clean. We'll definitely go back.
Lots of walking trails, flat terrain, bathrooms available on the trail, as well as several spots to stop and rest on a bench or swing. Paved but not very wide, so be on the lookout for other walkers and bikers.
The Hugh Banyon Trail system in Orange Beach is an excellent walking, running and biking trail. Turtles, snakes , alligators can be seen on the trail.
