Spacious sites, most sites are on the lake, very helpful, accomodating and friendly staff, great wifi, cable. We have stayed extended periods. Great hiking trails Downtown only a few minutes away. Walmart about 15 minutes. We have family 20 miles away and this has become our park of choice.
We pitched a tent. Nice view of Lake at site. The sites are gravel, so definitely bring something like and air mattress or thick pad to sleep on. Park has a long walking path that was great for our dog. It was very peaceful and away from everything.

My husband, 8 year old son and I stayed during spring break, March 19-22, 2016. The park is quiet and clean. The walking trails are well-maintained and lovely. The island is awesome! We parked right on the water and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night. We can't wait to go back!
