I spent about 45 minutes walking around the gardens. I suppose I would have seen many more flowers in the summer months. I love gardens and it was slightly disappointing.
Great walkways and paths,wheelchair and scooter accesable ample parking , very pretty even off season make shure to see the home
This place is nestled away from the riff-raff traffic. Here, which is closed on Mon. & Tues., contrary to what AAA books cites. There is a fee $5.00. Once inside you can stroll about into what ever section you so choose. This is a large expanse of property, and a lot to take in, please allow enough time to savor.
Mobile Botanical Gardens is a great place to visit and a great venue for meetings or gatherings at the pavilion. They also have great plant sales periodically with plants tyhat do well in the Mobile area
Bellingrath Gardens is a lovely place to spend a few hours. It is filled with beauty, various types of gardens in dramatically different settings, and loaded with history. Very nice place to visit especially if the weather is nice and the flowers and plants are growing. Great for taking portraits.
This is a well maintained garden that at the moment has very few blooming plants. However the camellias will be opening soon and I can't wait until spring for the azaleas. It's a lovely place.
