Love going out to the end to watch the sun set....great place for fishing from what I could tell. We love watching the sunset and getting some pictures.
We didn't go out on the pier (fee), but you can access the restrooms without going out on the pier. The beach around the pier is great, very nice sand, not too crowded, and you have wash areas to get the sand off. We really had a nice time here, and there is shade from the pier if you want... 更多
Anyone who visits our area should absolutely make the pier part of their trip. Whether you're going out to do some fishing or just sightseeing and enjoying the dolphin shows you can see from the pier, I highly recommend you check it out. Great place to meet some really fun locals too! My family loves the pier and make it... 更多
We loved this pier. Sure there is a fee, but it does keep it well kept. We came here almost every night. The fisherman were friendly and entertaining. We even sat on a bench for some relaxing views. Our kids loved the different types of fish being brought up. We hung out by where they would clean the fish and... 更多
There is a fee just to walk out on a pier into the ocean. Not worth it. Trying to guide around all the left behind fish guts and fishing poles is just a hassle.
At almost 1/3 mile long it's a nice walk onto the water. Interesting view of nature and historical markers about the pier and beach. Fun photos of Sam the pelican.
Walked along the beach for 4 miles before coming up to the pier for a break. Wasn't aware there was a $3 cost to walk out on the pier. Was kinda surprised but paid it, figuring it went for upkeep. Was also surprised that at the very end there is a Red border Line you are not allowed to cross... 更多
Not the best for fishing but it is a great pier! It is a long pier. You can pay to just go out on it or pay to fish. You pay by the day and can come and go with your wristband.
We paid $3/guest over 12 years of age and walked the fishing pier this afternoon. Our 16 year old took pictures of the friendly pelican that greeted us. We saw many local fisherman catch multiple fish this afternoon while we were only spectating. It was a great way to experience being out "on the ocean" - kids loved it and... 更多
The pier is well lit and maintained. There is a fee to walk out for sightseeing and another fee for fishing. It is the longest pier on the Gulf of Mexico. They offer a small store for snacks, fishing supplies and licenses.
