not the greatest museum, but it's Hank Williams boyhood home and there is a great Hank Williams museum just North in Montgomery. Lots of newspaper articles about his early life. About 1-2 miles off I-65 and a good place to stretch your legs and get to know Hank better, Only $5.
The museum is probably as old as Hank and is off the highway with no major signs leading to it. The atmosphere brings back the golden years of Hank and his songs seems to reverberate in your head (if you are a fan) as you stroll through the museum. This charming home, located just a short drive from the highway, was a nice diversion. The woman working there was able to answer all questions asked of her and seemed to care about the museum and Hank's reputation. This museum is well worth $5 and an hour of your time if you ar in the area.
