Great for nature lovers. The entrance is free but very difficult to find anyone to open the door. one can see stuffed animals, birds, butterflies, including some rare species. varieties of woods, sculptures, etc can be seen. the museum is located in quiet place and is not crowded unlike other museums. Photography is prohibited.
The forest museum is in Dow Hills, Kurseong. The complex also holds the Forest School. The Museum is a two storey building. It contains animal skins, bones and hides and wooden products. It also has models of different dams, forest houses etc. And it has a skeleton. We did not have to buy a ticket, entrance is free.
