Privilege and an honour to be able to visit. Take your time walking around the premises and do it early doors as after a sun baked day it becomes difficult to walk around bare feet which is a necessity.
For such an impressive figure this display was less than impressive. There were a lot of Gandhi's quotes along the hallways and a few dioramas depicting monumental moments in his lifetime. You could walk to see where Gandhi was shot but it would have been nice to have had someone to share the information with you and bring the stories... 更多
You cannot fail to be moved by this place, The house contains information and articles associated with Gandhi's life and death. Moving to the grounds of the garden you will see cement footsteps, these represent the last steps that Gandhi made before his assassination. The steps terminate at the Martyr's Column' Well worth a visit.
Free entrance. The gardens are beautifully kept and it is a very quiet place. Found it to be an interesting look into the later life of Gandhi. The teachings of Gandhi are displayed all over the walls so be prepared for a lot of reading.
