Several stories circle around this place. Tomb of the Prophet Job? tomb of some other guy who happened to also be named Job? Site of miraculously appearing well? Just an ordinary well? Who knows? Whatever else, locals come here to drink some water and be blessed. They have interesting information about the history (and misuse) of irrigation in Uzbekistan.
You might wonder what a mausoleum has to do with water. It's holy water here and the stories around water are well explained in this small museum. I liked the old photographs as well which enriching the exhibition.
