This is a fun quick stop off I-459 (Liberty Park Area). Don't expect lots of things to do at this location. This is a fairly small space on the Boy Scouts grounds. The statue is actually quite impressive but it is not worth the stop unless you are nearby or going to the Boy Scouts of America office
To me the statue is not worth the stop. However if you are a Boy Scout family particularily from AL it is a great stop due to the great Boy Scout Store - eagle scout wall and eagle statue.
We have driven past this statue on 459 for as long as I can remember but have never stopped until yesterday. It is clean, kept up, and a fun place to stop to look at and take a picture. According to the plaque, it is 1/5 of the size of the one in NYC. Our family visited the one there... 更多
Although it was hard to get a decent picture (wrong time of day) this was still a great stop! I've never seen the real thing but this is a neat replica! It was confusing to figure out if we were allowed to go in or not but we did regardless. I would suggest this as a quick stop for anyone!
We decided to stop over on our way to Nashville. It was definitely a longer route to go here but it was worth while especially since my parents was visiting us and this was definitely a hit with them and the perfect photo opportunity.
Saw this statute from the freeway as we were driving by. Had no idea it was there so I looked it up on TA and sure enough it was highlighted. It was an unexpected treat to see The mini Lady Liberty standing guard. It would have been cool to see it up close and at night based on the reviews... 更多
