From the outside, you'd never guess what a great museum this is. It is well worth the hours you will spend inside. An absolute must-see in Sta Cruz.
A very interesting and well put together private collection of a range of artefacts ranging from dinosaur bones, mummies and fossils to trains and memorabilia from the rescue of 33 miners. The only reason I have not rated it a 5 is that all of the information is in Spanish. Had we not had someone with us that could explain... 更多

We have visited often, both before and after the rebuilding after the 2010 earthquake. It is now even better than it was before. A fascinating collection of collections! Mr. Cardon has made his collecter's passion available to the world. Thank you! If you are interested in his vision, watch the short movie offered at the entrance. But whatever your passion... 更多
Wonderful museum. Well organized, varied and interesting. I have visited many museums around the world and this is one of the best. The entrance ticket is good for 24 hours, which is a good thing...the museum is extensive and well worth several hours of your time. Highly recommended when in the Colchagua Valley.
I visited the museum with my 21-year-old daughter. I would strongly recommend viewing the video before you proceed to the museum rooms. We were not offered the video, and had to ask, based upon another review that I had read on trip advisor. It's on the left as you go in, and as I say, not advertised! The creator of... 更多
Definitely, if you go to Santa Cruz you must go to this museum. You must have at least 3 to 4 hours to visit complete. Very varied and exciting in the stand of the rescue of the miners. Beautiful museum.
This museum is a must-see for your visit to Santa Cruz. Everything from prehistoric fossils, artifacts from early native Central and South American cultures, through the colonial period to the present was well curated and presented. My family loved the special exhibit on the trapped miners and their rescue.
We were told we should see this museum; and when we did we could not believe the extent of collection here. From pre-Columbian to recent past; It is an amazing Museum with a lot more collection than many Government museums in S. America. GO
