A busy downtown square, located amid many retail shops, restaurants, Pedro II Theater, and perhaps most importantly, the Pinguim Chopperia. A historic monument in the square honors fallen soldiers. Parking is challenging; look for one of several small lots located on nearby side streets.
A nice historical place to visit but the surrounding is a bit dirty with many trashes! If the people are caring more about its historical beauty and significance, they should tidy up the surrounding. I still recommend this place if you happen to be in Ribeirao Preto.
