Our guide had a deep connection with this hotel since his grandfather would take him there when he was a young boy so we got a really personal tour of the building. Went with a few friends and we all liked it a lot. We could saw the beautiful castle in detail, took great pictures enjoying the peaceful place. Staff is very good and provided all the information we needed. We want to return there very soon!
We visited in January and it wasn't very crowded. It was a nice outing, but wasn't too exciting. The beautiful weather helped. Not too much to see thou, so I found it was too long to drive from Rio to visit. Not something I'd want to see twice.
