I love the loop walk in this park, it takes a little over an hour. even though a lot of the way you are sharing the road with cars, it's still just a single lane one way and not too many cars going by. the views are lovely. I like going here when I get to the ferry landing early... 更多
Wash Park (as the locals call it) is a few square miles of forest land on a peninsula with 270 degree views if you go all away around it. There are many hiking trails (need boots or sneakers with good traction - it can be a little muddy and slippery in spots) which go through the forest with a few... 更多
With narrow winding road and lots of pullouts, this is an excellent little park in Fidalgo Island. First off, before we entered the park, my husband and I saw a Doe and two fawns at the entrance of the park. That, in itself, was a treat! The road is literally narrow, leading only one way up and out of the... 更多
Most people on their way to or from the San Juan Islands rush by this park. Don't miss it! There is a great loop for walking - or driving. It is just uphill from the ferry landing. Great views - especially of the sunset.
If you love the Pacific NW mountains and sea this park is for you....great place to launch a boat but even better for walking paths, picnics and exceptional views. At the end of the road past the ferry terminal exit.....keep going an extra mile or so and you'll be rewarded.
This is a good park to visit for great views of the San Juans and Anacortes. Either hike or drive the 'loop' road stopping at the various view areas.
This is everyone's favorite loop walk. Changes of scene - lots of forest with reward views here and there. Some changes of elevation - but not too much.
Beautiful little park with overlooks out towards the San Juan Islands to the west. Looks like a great place to get out and hike, walk or run. There were some idealic park benches here and there.
