Take a lunch and hike up to this park; you can drive as well. The views of great for photographers who have a love and water and mountain views. See native flowers, shrubs and flowers in Spring.
Stopped by during a break in the rain and drove up to the outlook. Breathtaking view of the islands and surrounding areas. Not to be missed! Didn't stay long as it was pretty chilly and wasn't prepared. Plan to go back on a nicer day and take my camera. Will be back when my parents visit also! Photo attached taken... 更多
Watch for tourists who are not familiar with steep narrow roads. The views are worth it. Make sure you stop are several viewpoints looking in different directions.
If you want views, on a clear day being uo on Mt Erie is almost like taking a small-plane ride over western Skagit County and the eastern side of the San Juan Islands. no hiking and you get views beyond words ... i think so .. just a drive up hill... road is not best and scares parking but worth it
Hard to believe your just 15 minutes out of town. Wasn't a crystal clear day but you could see a long ways in every direction. Each vista is a little different view. If you have an extra hour or so while in the Anacortes area put it on your Agenda.
