I hate pools, simply because they are boring. But the Great Waves pool is the exception...lots of fun floating in the waves on an tube or simply treading water. A tip: while there are a lot of lounge chairs for sunbathing, get there before Noon on the weekends to secure one.
Had a blast here. Didn't realize that the park was as big as it is. It's more than a water park. There's a lot of activities on site. We went on a Wednesday, and not crowded at all. We went to the the water park so that our little ones could enjoy the water. The prices are reasonable all away around. It was pretty cool. It has been a long time since I've been there and being back made me feel so jovial. I got on the small slides twice then stayed in the wave pool the rest of the time. It was relaxing even with the park super full.
What a great treasure for the local community and for family and friends visiting during the late spring through fall. Lots to do without breaking your wallet. Easy to access, but get there early as parking can be a challenge some days.
So I went to this place with my boo for his work event. There is a lot to do. There is a water park, mini golf and batting cages. If your looking for something to do with the kids this would be an all dayer.
