Walked the trails for awhile. Very easy to traverse although be aware of other users (lots of bikes and joggers, as there should be). Lots of areas for picnic and an outstanding play area for our granddaughters. The hands on nature center is worth a quick stop, but don't expect too much.
River Legacy Park is relatively new. It opened in 1990 with a little under 400 acres. Through the help of their foundation, it's grown to 1,300 acres. It sits along the Trinity River and boasts a wonderful trail system through the riparian woods. A living science center was added in the middle 90's. Several fields and parks have been added... 更多
I like going there to eat my lunch, I like take my bike and go there to ride there different trails and it is concrete as well. Good place to cook out and have a family gathering.
This is a great park for joggers, walkers, cyclists, and families alike. There are some easy paved trails in the central part of the park. You can go for some longer trails thru wooded areas. Children s play area and the whole park itself can get a bit crowded in the evenings in spring and summer. Visit the River Legacy... 更多
One of the things I like about this park is that they have miles of paths you cam Roller Blade on,which is what I use to do when I went there. It is also a great place to go for a picnic with friends and family.
When we lived in the area, 18 years ago, we came here all the time. They had festivals, parties, outdoor concerts - we loved it. It is a beautiful area. Now the park is pretty quiet and some of the people there don't look like people I'd want to be around all alone. There are nice trails and some pavillions.
Followed google maps directions and got inside the park without thinking about the need for trail map. This park is HUGE! The trails are concrete lanes marked for left/right with some more rugged ones also. Stop at the Nature center BEFORE you enter. It's a wonderful place, friendly folks, restrooms and maps. Bring water and know where restrooms are. We... 更多
I use to take the kids I nannyed for here after school all the time. It's a beautiful park for all ages. There's trails for bikes/runners/walkers and there also is different parks for different ages of children. I think it's the best park in Arlington!
This is a great park with a lot of outdoors options. One of the crown jewels of the City of Arlington, it consists of one of the most popular and extensive mountain bike trails covering over 11 miles deep in the wooden areas! Very well maintained and impressive trails for beginner and advanced levels. Multiple different levels of obstacles for... 更多
